in 2007 I experienced a rare phenomenon, called a kundalini awakening. This was not my aim. A bartender, pottery teacher and small town vermont girl, soon to become so very much more than she had bargained for.

A kundalini awakening is where the serpentine life force energy, which rests at the base of the spine, pierces up through each of the 7 major chakras of the body. Many have gone into states of psychosis, never again returning to the rational mind or the functionality of the mundane. I experienced this as a download of massive proportions which took a decade to unpack and another decade to embody.

The crux of the knowing that came through was that "i am" the christ risen. And while this made me extremely uncomfortable to suddenly know, solely in response to what others would say, it was imperative that i rest in that comprehension. I needed to experience all of the ways in which it was true. where by it became very clear that I am not the only one. I was told to "find the others." The second coming of christ is not a singular human. it is a frequency of consciousness, rising within all who choose to know that they are a seed of god, unwaveringly.

 

In Mary Magdalene's lost gospel, she tells the other disciples about a vision she had of Christ: "I saw the lord in a vision and I said to him, 'Lord, I saw you today in a vision.' He answered me, 'How wonderful you are for not wavering at seeing me! For where the mind is, there is the treasure."

I understand this through the experience of the heart, not cognition. And it speaks to the bravery and purity that she holds, for witnessing the unconditional love of god, because to witness it is to know fully that it is yours. it is  sympathetic resonance; when a tuning fork is vibrating and a second comes into vicinity, if the second is of the same frequency, it begins to vibrate without being rung.

 those who have the codes within them are the healers. they are the ones who will understand that the path is not only, through the pain because the pain is the teacher, but that it is out the other side into self forgiveness, self love and deep integrity.
