Surprisingly, no. JessiMa employs transpersonal listening, which is a technique used to hear the under currents of all that you say and weave together the patterns of dissonance. You are of course free to choose anything that you would like and JessiMa will find the foundation of it and work from there for greatest effect. In the event that the need is not easily identified, hypnosis can be employed to instruct your psyche to define over the coming days, what it most needs to work on.

Hypnotherapy is a descent into the luminous machinery of your own becoming. It is what happens when the spotlight of attention turns inward and the noise of the surface mind finally quiets enough for deeper intelligence to speak. You are not losing control, you are surrendering friction. You are slipping past the gatekeepers of habit and arriving at the source code of experience itself.

This is the state where imagination is no longer pretending to be fictional and reveals itself as a force of construction. Where the memory, the emotion, the sensations, and the meaning all collapse into a single field of malleable possibility. The story you have been telling yourself loosens and the body begins to listen, as it becomes aware of your own presence. The mind becomes eager to align with what it knows to be truth. It is as if it hears that it might want to be in this other configuration, this more natural one... "do you remember", it is asked and it responds by sliding back into place. The energetic systems of the body release resistance because it remembers that it feels better over here. If the client gives the body permission, it effortlessly reorganizes itself toward balance. Reiki works through sympathetic resonance because your biology knows how to heal when the interference falls away.

How many sessions do you recommend and why?

I have found in my many years of practicing wholeness, that we need rhythm in order to set cohesion. I prefer to work with clients beginning with ten consistent weekly sessions, because this allows congruity with the reformed ways that you choose speak to yourself. By meeting with me weekly, your bodies (Energetic, biological, mental and spiritual) are remembering to hold themselves accountable over and over again. Accountability is not always about 'taking the blame'. In fact, in this practice it is about remembering kindness. Revisiting the deeper reasons for the things that we do and say. It is about anchoring presence and compassion because things will always come up. Challenge as a system does not go away. It is how we address the emotions and thusly the actions around the challenge that must change... and that is a system.

It is also statistically demonstrated that when you invest in something in a way that carries personal cost, you tend to show up for yourself with greater seriousness, commitment, and follow through.
In other words, If we have had to go out on a limb financially (because everyone is concerned with their finances- this is about safety and stability) our deeper presence is triggered and the different levels of the mind become more available to the information it receives.
