FAQ's of Hypnotherapy
Is hypnosis safe?
Hypnosis is a natural, drug-free state of focused attention that people enter daily in ordinary life. There are no known dangers when working with a trained practitioner, and the client always remains in control and able to emerge from trance on their own.

Can someone be hypnotized to do something against their will?
No. Hypnosis cannot make a person act against their values or ethical standards. Research indicates that a part of the individual monitors the hypnotic process and prevents violations of personal integrity.

Will I lose control or fall asleep?

Hypnosis is not sleep or unconsciousness. Clients are alert and aware, even when deeply relaxed, and they maintain control over what they choose to share or act upon.

Do people always remember what happens?
Individuals experience hypnosis differently. Some are focused on the practitioner’s guidance, and others may drift or daydream. Memory varies by personal style and does not affect the effectiveness of the session.

Is hypnosis only for certain issues or people?
Hypnotherapy is versatile. It can be effective for a wide range of concerns, including stress, sleep, habits, emotional regulation, and trauma responses. Willingness and engagement, not weakness, predict responsiveness.
