Communication and Emotional Maturity in the Chasm

Listening & feeling

We are in a week of accelerated change now. There is pressure building, you can likely feel it, but it's not chaos for the sake of chaos... It's movement with purpose and maturity. You may feel like parts of yourself are shifting faster than usual as the internal pieces are rearranging. And it might feel like you are steeping in something new, a richer decoction of something you haven't fully been able to name yet.

This week's intensity is rooted in the third and final square between Jupiter and Saturn, exact on June fifteenth. When the planets retrograde and station direct multiple times, we are learning a think in stages as it unravels gently. These two have been in a longer conversation since late 2020 when they met at zero degrees of Aquarius. That was the spark of a new collective framework, and now we have reached a critical turning point. Saturn in Aries tells us it's time to act! Jupiter in Cancer says remember to act from the heart. These are cardinal signs, so they ask us to initiate, but only when it feels true, personal, and meaningful.

We also have Mars square Uranus on the same day. This is volatile, quick moving energy as Uranus is the liberator and Mars moves forward with speed and certainty. Mars in Leo can roar, make no mistake! And Uranus in Taurus pushes against anything that feels forced or outdated. Together, they can break things open. This might look like frustration, a sudden realization, or even an emotional outburst that clears the air. It is likely not super graceful, but it is clarifying and sometimes we need that external push.

Then just days later, Mars enters Virgo on June seventeenth. This is a recalibration of sorts. Mars in Virgo wants precision, efficiency, and healing. It helps us to redirect all that fire into something useful. This could look like organizing what previously felt scattered... tending to your body, or simply recognizing what is excessive and trimming it back. There is an invitation here to tend, not just to act. So try and remember to stick with it for the best results.

In the background, Jupiter moves into a square with Neptune in Aries, exact June eighteenth. This here is uncharted water! It can stir up doubt or idealism and either way, it opens the doorway to a new dream. Something unfamiliar might start to vibrate beneath the surface, asking if you are willing to believe in it. Even if you don't have proof yet. Even if it makes absolutely no sense at all... Ahhhh faith....

Meanwhile, Mercury in Cancer is forming a soft sextile to Venus in Taurus. This is a quieter aspect but a really beautiful one. It's relational, calm, and supportive. You may want space or even solitude. Or you may find comfort in someone who simply gets it without you having to explain. Let yourself pull back if you need to because rest is not a delay. It is part of the shift. It's a part of you learning how to tend your own garden with that maturity.

The Full Moon in Sagittarius just passed at twenty degrees. It likely illuminated something about your own truth, your own horizon line. Where in your chart is 18-23* of Sagittarius? This will help to pinpoint that shift for you. Sagittarius asks us to trust, to trust in ourselves, in our story and in what is unfolding beyond the edge of what we can see. This Full Moon was ruled by Jupiter in Cancer, so what comes forward now may have deep roots in your emotional history, your ancestral line, or even your sense of home.

Altogether, these transits are asking you to listen more deeply, move more deliberately, and trust what feels good inside of the body. Even if it's not fully clear yet. Many people I have been speaking with this week are talking about how their style of communication is being refined. We are learning how we can become more direct, especially when speaking our needs, while also expanding our kindness in a way that does not collapse into appeasement or invite defensiveness from others. And this is the work isn't it? How do we stand clearly in our truth without raising armor in ourselves or provoking it in someone else? This is the edge many of us are walking right now. So let us remember that we don't need to rush... But we will need to be more honest about what no longer holds the proper orientation.

Something new is becoming visible, not all at once, but in pulses, sparkles and ripples, friends! You'll recognize it when it arrives. For now we are at the bottom of a chasm... Not all the way through, but gaining clarity each time we allow ourselves to sit in the discomfort, relax the belly and get curious about what is happening each day.
