The Sacred Rebellion

I was programmed perfectly as a child to be a natural healer, mostly because of being misunderstood and punished for it. A common story!
As I got older and started to self reflect more honestly, instead of "there must be something wrong with me", or "there must be something wrong with them." I realized that there was something terrible wrong with the system which informs us. I realized that everyone in the world was so terribly hurt that they would rather mask and cope than be authentic and uncomfortable in the moment. However, I would come to learn that the expense is far greater than we knew.
And that... is largely the way the world works.
The problem, of course, is that we are powder kegs, thusly. Incredibly easy to manipulate through our barely controlled emotions.
So we continue to make do.
We buy more things.
We update.
eat more food. (Have you ever thought- "Well, I deserve this!"? (Funny how we treat ourselves with that which poisons us...)
We escape harder and as a result, punish ourselves and those around us.
All on a subconscious level.
The powers that be, are well aware of the way the psyche works, and use that to their fullest advantage. They push our fears and our insecurities into the forefront, continuously, and then sell us the fix.
The drug,
the sex,
the movies,
the stories that make us believe this is the only way.
The "medicines" that make us more dependent.
The dopamine hits of the illegal activities that give us the necessary sense of control through a contrived rebellion.
Then we see all of the signs and symbols of what we "should be", allowing the shame and guilt to come flooding back in, and the cycle continues.
This society teaches us that pushing harder, past our own boundaries is strength. That taking care of ourselves is for the terribly selfish and the rich. The "haves" believe that the "have nots" are lazy and failing, and unintelligent.
The Illusion of Separation is stoked like a fire in our bellies.
Everyone is taught this, or everyone learns it.
And so we must just need to push harder, right?...
This is the feeding of the class wars.
Then we have:
the war between the sexes,
the war between the races,
the war between the politically inclined.
All of these are volcanoes, built to tear us apart, because if the illusion of separation is perpetuated, then we need them to police us.
And it keeps our full attention, this carefully crafted system.
Meanwhile, they've bought up all of our farmland, our regulatory systems are an absolute front. They're pushing data centers, stealing our fresh water, creating synthetic foods with DNA altering chemicals, creating "15 minute or smart cities" (They have begun in Oxford officially), you will have to pay to leave, ICE concentration camps, and all of our options are getting narrower and narrower.
And the confusion gets bigger and bigger, promoting entropy or chaos. This means less control for us.
Where did the control go?
The 2nd law of thermodynamics is that energy cannot be created or destroyed. So the control is somewhere, and we're starting to act like caged animals.
We only become more crippled from here if we choose to stay in the dark.
Fragility vs. Sensitivity
Fragility is not the same as sensitivity, though this is the interpretation.
Sensitivity is the ability to 'sense' shifts and changes on a smaller and more immediate level. So really it means having a deeper presence.
Fragility is the byproduct of overwhelming fear. It is easily breakable and deeply vulnerable to overwhelming emotion based on its environment.
Fragility is weakness that comes from a non-resourced system.
Sensitivity is intel, strength based on a well resourced system.
The more sense-itive we allow ourselves to be, the more quickly we can rebuild through caring for our own needs.
This gives us incredible strength. It allows for the whole cycle, and wastes no time. In fact, it uses time purposefully. When we try and push past these needs rather than addressing them, life invariably forces us to go back and try again. We don't need to see this as an inconvenience if we honor it and create space.
But in order to transfer to this system, rather than the system of fragility, we must admit that we have needs and begin to honor them as a critical part of the strengthening process. Thereby discontinuing the shaming of them.
But how do we do this?
Practice, discipline.
A great therapist on your team.
You can see how it becomes a self-defense.
It is terribly difficult to see the truth of what's going on in the world, in ourselves and in others. If we have a vested interest in the system of untruths.
And we only need to be invested if we continue to choose short term "comfort", over authenticity & accountability.
If we continue to choose a system of fragility, then we outsource our ethos and our moral compass,
A System Based on Personal Power and Sensitivity
So what does a system based on personal power and sensitivity look like?
#1. We acknowledge our needs.
Nervous system resets,
more sleep,
less responsibility or better delegated responsibility.
Higher quality food,
more clean water,
Doing something about stress in the moment or as a preventative regimen.
#2. Acting on those needs
Scheduling time for them like an appointment.
What are ways to reset the Nervous System?
Writing our accountability, (What is the absolute truth? WHat is trying to happen?)
Forest bathing,
breath work,
adaptogens,
headstands, or legs up the wall,
sound therapy.
Exercise,
clean medicine,
clean community,
clean food.
The Sacred Rebellion
What is the sacred rebellion?
It is the system of sense-itivity.
It is where we come together in community to learn, practice, and actively honor our humanity, our needs, to be seen and not misunderstood, our need to contribute to something larger than the self. Our need to not be dismissed for our truths. And we come together in unity.
I will be teaching:
natural medicine making
whole food preparation,
sound healing for ourselves and our families,
breath work,
gardening,
natural building,
cob ovens to geodesic domes.
Meditation for everyone.
Arts for health and joy,
non-violent communication
How can you help grow this?
What do I need from you to make this possible?
Spread the word. More people equals more resources. This is unity versus the illusion of separation.
Come to the events.
Maybe teach or share something.
We need event spaces.
We need garden spaces.
Together we can begin to re-member our wholeness.
We can begin to celebrate our differences as our strengths and our resources, to contribute to the whole.
