Expect the unexpected

Solar Eclipse 2/17/26 5:00 am MST at 28* 49 minutes of Aquarius

This is a big eclipse actually. It lands on the Chinese New Year which we have been anticipating- The Year of the Fire Horse and Aquarius is the perfect eclipse to be ringing in a new year of intensity, rapid change, passion and independence!

Aquarius itself is the zodiacal sign attributed to innovation, unexpected events, shock, new beginnings and the future.

Eclipse energy, for those that are foggy on it, is all about interruptions. It accelerates a process that would normally take quite a while to unfold and hits us with lightning to force a behavioral shift.

But here’s the thing- Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) is actually squaring this eclipse, meaning it is putting pressure on it. Uranus wants to head in one direction and the eclipse wants to head another- both are about freedom and liberation from old tracks and they are going to create some kind of pop in our structure!

If you have ever worked with entheogens, then you may know what I am talking about. It is still an unfolding, but time is accelerated, sped up. We are meant to have our crystalized patterns of identification broken open and splayed out before us. And everything that is happening is perfectly designed by Divine Intelligence to show us our conditioning, our patterns so that we can shift ourselves.

Ourselves really is the key word here because even though Aquarius is the sign of the Community, this is about how we respond and react. Whatever the upheaval is for you is going to show you how you respond and why. 9 times out of 10 it’s from fear. Fear of not being seen as we wish to be, fear of losing control of something, fear of losing what we identify as our safety.

This moment isn’t about trying to fix a thing either, with this energy, it can’t be put back together, it has to form into something different. It forces us to adjust to our environment, just like the butterfly suddenly coming out of the chrysalis- it’s up in the air and OH NOOOO- it is falling now, it can’t even find the ground to walk on and then…. Oh… there’s wings here. Let’s see what happens when I use them instead of my feet. See what I mean? Completely unexpected AND we have the tools to move forward.

Now, eclipses work in groups. March 2nd we have the Lunar eclipse in Pisces, reiterating both the need and capacity to use our Spirituality as our wings. Especially with Neptune and Saturn finally out of Pisces and pushing us to take action with all of that ‘feeling’ stuff we learned about in the past three years.

In the end of July and beginning of August we are going to have this same point triggered again and it continues to evolve the theme that we are working with here. This is ALL initiatory energy. Yes we will be working with it for the next 6 months, but whatever it is, it’s coming up fast.

So will you flow with it? Will you allow yourself to break free from your stuck patterns, the ones that have become so rigid, in terms of who you think you are? It’s uncomfortable by design, but how can a chicken become itself if the egg doesn’t break? Remember that Aquarius is a freedom fighter! It IS the rebellion. It wants truth and freedom above all else, so when it redirects it does it in such a way that it can never go back together the same way again.

Let it shatter friend and you will experience less suffering. Sift through the rubble and see what the treasure is for you- because it will be there.
